PURPLE 4EVER Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 The count total was right at 172,000 today at Pheonix. Absolutely unbelievable. They are expecting a 4 day crowd totalling over 600,000. Just curious, doesn't the Indy 500 seat right at 150,000? If that is the case, then the Pheonix Open for the last few years has had single day crowds exceeding this. CBS does an outstanding job on this open. Watching the 16th hole is hilarious.
