bullets13 Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 What program's play has surprised you the most this year? Which team's success (or lack thereof) has been the biggest shock to you?
Master T Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 Hardin by far this biggest surprise to me. Jasper and O-Field made a pretty good shofk to some people.
Guest RBarker Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 you have gotta say huffman on this one. Because no one thought they would even win a district game this year in 4A, because they were a 4A school with 3A numbers. But they are 15-11 and 6-5 in district right now. They have did a good job this year
CATMAN Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 WARREN i thought they would be in the playoff. :( :( :(
AggiesAreWe Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 On the positive side, you have to go with Hardin and it's very good play this year, beating Kountze and EC. Others that could be considered would be Vidor, Nederland and Newton. On the negative side, you have to start with PAM and the Brown situiation, with even 4 teams going to the playoffs, they may not make it, need some help. Also, you could throw LCM and WOS in the dissapponting catagory with their play this year. LCM still has a chance at the playoffs, but slim, many expected more from them. WOS, what do you say, 20+ losses, never saw that coming.
Guest larry mcgee Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 Orangefield is a totally differnent team than i gave them credit for. I also didnt think Hardin would be as good as they are. On the down side, WOS and LCM have been disappointing this season. I hope them Bears can turn it around quick
Guest OFballer Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 Biggest suprise would be the Orangefield Bobcats. We knew they would be tough, but Coach Winkle has them fighting to get into the playoffs. Biggest disappointment....LC-M. This was the year they were supposed to make a run. They had everyone back on a senior led team. They are still in the hunt, but not for long. Eveyone is on WO-S , but really who thought they were going to be that great? They lost evryone from last year's squad. No size, no experience.
UKCats Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 In my opinion Jasper has played some pretty good teams closer than I expected them to, so we shall see how their season turns out. On the downside I believe HJ has lost a few key games that may hurt them during the play-off run. They have not played the polished game I normally expect from them. However, once again we will all know how everyone will do soon enough.
PoppaBearstarr Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 HJ hasn't lost anymore games than they did last year. they were 38 and 4 last year
UKCats Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 I never said they had lost more or less games?!?!? Just "KEY" ones. Some that I feel like they definitely should have won. I am not downing them so don't take it that way, they just haven't played like I felt they would.
