With the regular season coming to a close, let me hear who your district MVP's are... big school, small school, and everywhere in between.

District 24-2A MVP--Daniel Marsh, Jr

What he has done this year on both sides of the court is phenomenal and he has helped give his team the chance to

win the district....as far as most valuable player for a team he is it!

No, Marsh travels too much.

Although he is pretty much a one man team.

District 24A MVP - Tyler Copeland

I know that it's sort of an unwritten rule that the District MVP come from the District Championship team; however, this has got to be a no-brainer exception to the rule. Averaging over 30 ppg and around 10 rebounds per game, not to mention makes his team competitive with the opponent almost every night. This MVP award will look nice next to his '06 Newcomer of the Year award, and his '07 Offensive MVP award. I'm not saying this vote will be unanimous (although I think it should be) because McKinney (BS) and Elliot (HD) will probably get a vote. Just my thoughts.

No doubt Tyler Copeland is 24A MVP

I would have to say that Copeland should win the MVP award.  In 242A its gotta be Tremain Thomas.

I think Marsh & Thomas are Co-MVP's of the district

21-3A: Jarvis Benard.  As much as all of us HJ fans were admiring the shooting of Bailey and Spikes the other night, we should have pointed out that Jarvis outscored both of them.

Thomas over Marsh. . .no question

Well, I have to say that I agree with A-town that both Marsh and Thomas should share the MVP award.  This is based strictly on what impact both have on their teams.  Thomas is a very talented and quick guard, makes pretty good decisions, BUT has good complements in Vance M and Donte R.  Marsh has incredible jumping ability, a very soft shot and good shot blocker, but if you removed him from the lineup, I don't know where the team would be.  The Kountze boys are very young, so they will have their chance to be MVPs (like Bray).

I thing who ever wins dist.should have the MVP :D :D :D :D

I thought that how it always been. Jarvis Benard and Shannon Robinson will be Co-MVP of district 21-3A. If any of those two teams slip in the next three games then it will only be one.

WOW I didn't realize that. I guess I just didn't realize how much he scored.

Jarvis still was and is my vote.

Marsh, 1st team all-state receiver, district MVP in 24-2A on the court. Tramain can't compete with him as far as I'm concerned on the basketball court. I also agree that TT was awsome this year at defensive back, but maybe he should consider a smaller school because the SEC and Big-12 are full of kids with twice the talent he has and are sitting the bench. Regardless, I do wish him luck wherever he goes. It's good to see a small town kid in our area do good.
