OldTimer Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 It appears that the top 3 teams in 22AAA will be Cleveland, Coldsprings and Kingwood Park With Liberty winning at Splendora it appears to have elimated any hope of Liberty or Splendora catching Kingwood Park. Current Records in district: Kingwood Park: 6 - 4 Splendora: 4 - 7 Liberty: 3 - 7 This means that neither team can catch the Kingwood Park team :-[
catfever Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 Who is going to get 1st. Cleveland or Coldspring.
OldTimer Posted February 6, 2008 Author Report Posted February 6, 2008 Cleveland currently I believe has the best record - so I think Cleveland will be 1st.
Socrates Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 Tarkington could mathematically catch K Park, but not likely. Cleveland (9-1)and Coldspring (9-2) don't play again, and Cleveland swept them, so Coldspring would need help to catch them.
OldTimer Posted February 6, 2008 Author Report Posted February 6, 2008 Socrates - you are right if - Tarkington (4 - 6) wins its last two games and Kingwood Park loses its last two games then Tarkington will be the 3rd team from the district. Only problem is that Tarkington has to play both Cleveland and Coldsprings and at the moment I don't see them beating them both. :'(
Socrates Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 Tarkington definitely has a tough task. If that scenario did play out, Tarkington and KP would be tied and have a playoff.
UKCats Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 And Tarkington has beaten KP once before
