Jasperdog94 Posted July 10, 2006 Report Posted July 10, 2006 As far as rivalries go, I've always looked forward to the WOS games. They had our number in the late 80's and early 90's, but we've gone back and forth the past several years.
Guest Living 4 Friday Nights Posted July 10, 2006 Report Posted July 10, 2006 Nederland and PNG because of parking, i've been to PNG one time and had to park way down the street in a neighborhood.
adminbaberuth Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 LCM, 1st you have to park near KOGT, walk about 2 miles, then when you get there you have the band and westernaires fill up the vistors side. Then, I pull out my cell phone, call a cousin on the other side and crash the party.
Bread Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 i hate goin to lcm, but now that will change with the big video screen, then i would have to say png and nederland because they are so DANG LOUD, and i have to agree that we have bad parking, luckily i have family that lives down the road the stadium is on so we always have a parking spot
KFDM COOP Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 Jasper didn't have the best parking either.
Jasperdog94 Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 Jasper didn't have the best parking either.I was waiting for someone to mention Jasper's parking.
KFDM COOP Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 Luckily i got there early. Other than that i liked the stadium.
Cat22 Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 I don't like going to HF. Their visitors stands are horrible. If you have kids with you you have to watch them like a hawk so they don't fall though the stands. Add Buna to my list too. I hate the light poles infront of the visitor stands.
Guest ECBucFan Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 Yeah, Buna puts their lights in FRONT of the visitors, but not the home side! No good!
Tiger90 Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 Livingston stands are kind of cool. You have trees directly over the visitor side. Always good if you play them early in the season when it is hot. What is crazy is looking down and realizing you are over their neighbor's property.
KFDM COOP Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 Vidor's Visitor side is like that in a way.

Tiger90 Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 lol I had to duck down a few times to see the play at the other end of the field due to the limbs. If it rained however, it would drip for the entire game.
KJB324 Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 Well i went to west brook and my dad went to west orange so I have been going to those games since i was 10 months old and now that WOS is in 3a alot of the stadiums bother me cuz they have a capacity of like 5 people. Especially the smaller 3a schools. Although the anahuac game was good cuz you could practically hear everything the coaches said on the sidelines.
Guest bulldogbark Posted July 12, 2006 Report Posted July 12, 2006 well I guess I will have to bring my bird food to Livingston
Bread Posted July 12, 2006 Report Posted July 12, 2006 yeah we had a soccer tourney in livingston and one of the houses behind it had a tarp over something that was really tight, and we would throw skittles to bounce them off the tarp lol it was quite fun

Guest bulldogbark Posted July 12, 2006 Report Posted July 12, 2006 ok so reminder bring bird food and skittles
cardinal81o7 Posted July 12, 2006 Report Posted July 12, 2006 of, anahuac, hf ...but hf makes up for it w/ their food, bc does have too many bugs but its just to keep our legs warm but i wish we could do something about our grass, if you've played on it youd notice its about ankle deep....too bad we dont start our season in may and play till august because once we play one game on that field our bermuda turns brown, its like clockwork.
Guest Living 4 Friday Nights Posted July 12, 2006 Report Posted July 12, 2006 Games at Lamar are terrible to.
Bread Posted July 12, 2006 Report Posted July 12, 2006 yep skittles are a must if you sit on the visitors side at livingston
WOS92 Posted July 12, 2006 Report Posted July 12, 2006 PNG if you are losing to them cause the fight song will drive you crazy. That's what we at WO-S have been told.
