EAGLE07 Posted February 8, 2008 Report Posted February 8, 2008 Many people are curious how they play.. are they good bad or what??? They are solid across the board...nothing spectacular but solid. I would not be surprised to see them in the playoffs in the 3-spot.
Guest tigersvoice Posted February 8, 2008 Report Posted February 8, 2008 Many people are curious how they play.. are they good bad or what??? Well, you probably know that they are a NEW school. So, they are growing into the school that they will be - that is to say that their highest class is the 10th grade. All of their players are Sophomores along with one Freshman. They were the second place team in their district behind Cleveland and ahead of Coldspring. Kingwood Park has a forward (Larla Brown, 5.10) who averages 18 points a game along with a hot shooting guard/forward (Aly Dioguardi, 5.7) who is averaging 17 points a game. The next best scorer is forward (Jennifer Barnes, 5.9) who averages 10 points a game. So, you have three players that regularly can put up 45 points a game between them. And they are Sophomores! That's not too shabby. They are in the district with Cleveland, Coldspring (already mentioned) along with Liberty, Splendora, Shepherd and Tarkington. I feel that their district does not have the strength of our 21-3A district and because of that I believe Silsbee will win their first round game.
Socrates Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 I think you are in the wrong area, this is boys baseball.
