Guest abovetherim Posted February 8, 2008 Report Posted February 8, 2008 He was off the crutches today and there is no structural damage to the knee. He is now listed as day-to-day. Great news for Lamar basketball fan's as Barrow is a fine young man and a very good ballplayer.
Guest coachacola Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 Tonight on the Coach Roc show he said they should get the results of Matt Barrow's MRI tomorrow morning. His knee is a little swollen but he's not on crutches. He hasn't participated in any workouts yet. Coach Roc seems to be optimistic and expects Barrow to be playing soon.
Guest abovetherim Posted February 13, 2008 Report Posted February 13, 2008 Doing a little studying at the John Gray Library and ate dinner at the dinning hall. I saw several guys on the team; Hall, McThay, Sanders, Nabors, Dawkins, D-Hop, Brown but no Matt Barrow. Anyone got some information? His absence from practice and around campus is worrisome.
Guest coachacola Posted February 13, 2008 Report Posted February 13, 2008 Rumor is he's done for the year, but that's unconfirmed.
Guest abovetherim Posted February 13, 2008 Report Posted February 13, 2008 Man, he is one of the nicest guys. I really hope this is just a rumor. It would be terrible if he re-injured the same knee after he was just now getting back to the old Matt Barrow. I would hate it as a fan but more so due to the fact he is such a pleasure to talk with. He is very approachable as is most if not all the current members of the basketball team. He is one of my favorite guys on the team.
Guest coachacola Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 From the PA News: Lamar will once again be without senior guard Matt Barrow whose status remains somewhat up in the air after a knee injury suffered a week ago at Nicholls State. Currye Todd will start in his place, and that could be significant considering that UTA plays more zone defense than anybody in the SLC. What exactly does that mean?
lu cards Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 he was a no show tonight.doesnt look good.
westendfirst Posted February 16, 2008 Report Posted February 16, 2008 he was a no show tonight.doesnt look good. That's a shame...he was really starting to play some great basketball and then he gets hurt again. That is just sickening.
Guest mffl Posted February 17, 2008 Report Posted February 17, 2008 In The Enterprise, Jay Brown said Coach Roc told the team he didn't think he would return this year.
Guest abovetherim Posted February 17, 2008 Report Posted February 17, 2008 :'( :'( :'( :'(. I'm sick!
