You talking about the one just north of the causeway bridge where the channel runs up into the lake?

Yeah "t", that's the one.  Usually in the Winter there's alot of noise from big trout being caught, but I haven't heard a thing.  Maybe it's later in the yr. and I'm just anxious.

1 yr. I caught 3,  5#ers in one day down there.

The only time that I have caught a speck over 6 pounds it was on that reef late in February.

well, we may just have to give it a try! 

That is, if I can ever get my boat out of my shop, without creating a mud hole.
