HJ-Bball
HJ JV finished their season tonight with a record of 23-1 and another District Championship. This group plays well. Over 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th grade they have a record of 73-7. Congrats to these young players and good luck in the future! EDIT: they also went through the season losing players left and right.....finishing the last several games with only eight.

baller001
it was a great year for the boys they started the year off with 16 players having to cut players because they didnt have enough uniforms then they had 4 players move away (2 starters and their only point guards) then they just kept battling with their 12 remaining players then grades came out and they went down to 8 losing their other players that they had running point guard and as soon as they lost those other 4 players they lost another boy who was injured soo they were playing with 7 and they just kept winning it was a great year that passed everyones expectations
Hawks11
Great job by a group of good kids! Way to stick together! They'll be something contend with in 21-3A for the next few years. Let's not forget HJ's Freshmen team. They're going for undefeated 23-0 season Monday night against HF. Let's all turnout and support!

bobcatfan
2 of those 7 losses were to OF jv and OF 7th grade, 2 groups that along with the 8th and 9th grades had very good years. OF has some good groups coming up also that hopes to compete with HJ in the coming years.
setxslam
I was amazed how Coach Davis was able to coax 7 kids-- and no PGs-- to just keep on winning. Great job, Coach and players! Y'all hit the weights hard and keep on ballin'!
OLDREF
Most people would not understand why Coach Clay Davis is so successful, but I do. You see Coach Davis has his priorities straight. He puts God first ,his family second(but only slightly), and his coaching job third. Coach Davis, for those amongst you who do not know, left a head coching job so that he could see that an ailing child had better care. He is a man amongst men in the coaching ranks. He gets the most out of his kids, and remains a junior varsity coach because that what he chooses. God bless you Clay Davis.
