court side Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 congrats KTZ. A lot closer than some would have thought.
warfan Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 Sorry to disappoint you guys but I am not going to blame the refs. The two trained and experienced refs did a good job. Warren had way too many turnovers, poor shot selection and missed free throws. Good luck to all as this will be my last post. It's been a great 30 years.
whsalum Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 KOUNTZE 12 27 28 15 = 82 WARREN 10 14 22 25 =71 Ktz-Walker-23,Bray-21 Warren-Sims-25(4-3ptrs),Andrews-25,Swinney-15(4-3ptrs).Proud of the Warren kids,they played hard but once again a rash of 2nd quarter turnovers was the difference.
CoachKfan Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 Just a personal note to Paul Sims.........you are awesome. There is not a kid in the state that worked harder then he has over the past few years. I have watched you grow in to, not just a fine basketball player but, a leader on and off the court and a class act. Whatever you choose to do from this point on, know that God has blessed you and that you gave it all you had when you stepped on that court. We are proud of you young man!
hawks77 Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 Ok kountze played a good game but that was really close for a 5-7 team against a 10-2 team. If they only won that game by 11 will they be able to handle EC tomorrow.
UT#1 Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 it will be a close game and a different kind of game ec doesnt have the shooters that warren has
TopDawG52 Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 E.C beat Warren by 6.. Warren is not a push over they are a very good team that should of been in the playoffs but they were playing bad in the 1st half of district thats why they are a 5-7 team

aggies4life Posted February 17, 2008 Report Posted February 17, 2008 Great season guys paul sims is a great player but i think sometimes people overlook matt andrews for being a great player to both of them are very good i just wish matt would get a little more credit
whsalum Posted February 17, 2008 Report Posted February 17, 2008 Matt did a great job this year for the Warriors even though in my opinion he had to play out of position. He played the low post, which allowed him to score but didn't take advantage of his outside shooting.Warren had some problems this season with consistancy but Paul Sims and Matt Andrews both had great years and will be extremely hard to replace in the Warrior line up.Sims averaged 19 points a game and Andrews 15.It was fitting in there last game both hit 25 against a good Kountze club. It's been a pleasure to watch these 2 this year.
