Agree with Lazeek as for taking it one game at a time but this team is capable of making it to Austin without a doubt.
hawkdad
HJ is a very talented team. Trey is a big part of that. All the pieces are back in place. They should have a very good chance to repeat. Like Lazeek said--one game at a time Hawks...
Guest nostradamus
WHOA! WHOA! WHOA! Easy boys.....with 8 seniors that played on last year's team I know that we are smart enough to steer WAY clear of this thread. Lots of luck and talent go into making a state tournament run. To steal a line from Hoosiers: "I'm sure making it to the state finals is beyond your wildest dreams......Let's just keep it there for now." One game, one half, one quarter at a time! baller001
they have a good chance to make it back but they will have to go out and give it their best effort every game one slip up in the playoffs and there is no tomorrow i hope we can make it back though soo go out their and win boys
setxslam
Yep, this year and next, too, with Benard, Burrell, Turner, great teammates, and the best coaching staff and fans in the state.ย One game at a time, of course; but, heck yes, this squad could three-peat. TopDawG52
I THINK THEY CAN. THE ONLY TEAMS STANDING IN THERE WAY ARE CROCKETT SILSBEE GATESVILLE AND ANOTHER TEAM NO ONE HAS HEARD ABOUT STAFFORD.
whsalum
The title of this thread is extremely misleading.I told ya back during the summer HJ had more guards than Buckingham Palace and thats still the case. While Trey and Jarvis are the headliners this teams destiny will be determined by players like Fontenot,Weldon and Payne just to name a few. It's very hard to keep a high school team focused and playing at a consistant level all year but Todd and his staff do it as well as anyone. To answer the question on the title of this thread,YES, but it will take a total team effort.Good luck to the Hawks in this years journey. bullets13
They certainly can, but it's no guarantee.ย Hopefully things will line up like they did last year and they can make another run!
