Nederland-not sure?

Central-Not sure?

Lumberton-Macdonough, Erickson

Ozen-Dede lots

PN-G-Harrington, Spikes maybe?

LC-m-Cloeren?

Dayton-any body as good as the hard thrower from last year?

Vidor- Bunner?

Give me some of the best pitchers so far this year from each team!

Harrington has yet to throw for PNG but he will be the best once the season begins. Spikes threw for the first time last week and was fairly sharp. No hits and one walk. Biggest task will be finding a consistent #3 pitcher. Woods has looked good in all but one of his outings so far this year, he may end up being able to hold the 3 spot down for PNG.

I was pretty impressed with Ozen when they played Bridge City about a week or so ago. Not real sure about names other than Lott. He looked real good on the mound. The SS and the CF were both impressive defensively as well.

22 4a district pitching staff ranks.

1. LCM- Unbelievably LOADED!!

            Jones, Johnson, Cloeren

2. PNG- Have the districts #1 and more talent also.

            Harrington, Spikes

3. Vidor- Not the fastest pitchers, but the craftiest.

              Robichau, Hester and Simms.

Nederland will probably surprise some people.  Sampere will be the #1.  Bellow, Dean, McFarland, Richard, and Roberts, give good depth to the bullpen.

It is impossible for Nederland to surprise some people by doing well.  They are a perrenial power house baseball team. They are expected to win.  For them to surprise the people from southeast texas, they would have to stay home from the playoffs.  When that happens, like last year, the baseball community is surprised.
