even if we win out (the regular season) there is no way our rpi will drop below 100.  The SLC gets no respect.

It will be close because SFA, SHSU and UTA had all good RPI's prior to conference. Agree the SLC get no respect.

Yeah but SFA beat Oklahoma, which gives them a big boost in RPI.

If we beat UNI, Wyoming, and Texas Tech, our RPI would be close to the 100's. Maybe higher.

By winning out, are you referring to the conference tournament as well?  If so, then I agree we will be below 100.  If you just mean the regular season I don't see it happening.  However, I've been wrong quite a bit this year so.....

Who cares who was right or wrong earlier this year. All I care about is this current team is has just put together a 11 game conference winning streak that is the BEST in the history of this storied program. 11 straight conference wins is more than any Billy Tubbs, Jack Martin or Pat Foster teams.

Great job to the current coaching staff and all the players.

P.S. Message to Coach Tubbs, get Coach Roc signed to a new contract asap.

from what I've heard, he hasn't even been given a first contract to sign!! big mistake if its true.

That isn't true he signed a three year contact and is the highest paid coach in the SLC. He still has a year left on the original contract but it effects recruiting if a coach doesn't have at least a couple years remaining on his contract. That said, we all know it is pretty easy for coaches to get out of contracts these days but Coach Roc wants to be at Lamar. We just need to keep him happy!

The RPI doesn't change too much when beating teams with bad RPIs, and our remaining opponents have bad RPIs.  We need to play and beat SHSU and SFA in the SLC tourney to get our RPI under 100 for the NCAAs.
