westend1 Posted February 18, 2008 Report Posted February 18, 2008 10-2 Brook 5th inning. Svoboda 5 innings 1 hit HR-Wallace
BigBodyBenz Posted February 19, 2008 Report Posted February 19, 2008 West Brook looked good last night except for the four errors. The game was a pitching duel until the top of the fifth inning when Dee Dee Lott started to tire and West Brook started to wake the bats up. Hope to see more of this offense in the upcoming tournaments.
donkey Posted February 19, 2008 Report Posted February 19, 2008 i like the way you think bigbodyBENZer...west brook looked solid out there with huff and Chris Muellner each going 3 for 4 and bender and nate dealing out there...theyre looking good going into the Houston Christian tournament even though they start out with St. Pius who they lost to last year but im sure seek revenge (as hey did against Ozen)
TradinUp BH Posted February 19, 2008 Report Posted February 19, 2008 This score doesn't surprise me, WB too much for Ozen
ballin4life Posted February 19, 2008 Report Posted February 19, 2008 This score doesn't surprise me, WB too much for Ozen I agree Ozen didn't show me anything, sure not a top ten team in this area. I think Gardiner played hurt, Lott should have been on a pitch count this early in the season ???. Did o.k but not great, for WB the Chris Muellner can swing the bat well. I thought Huff hits should have been outs. Ozen have their hands full this year again :'(

We (BH) open with St. Pius on Thursday at the HC tourney. BH/Westbrook on Friday. Congrats to Todd Wallace on his HR.

Hidden Talent Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 ballin4life? first let me congratulate you on your name...but if you would have been there...i think they were hits...and you got one thing right..muellner does stroke and polish that baseball no.... his hits were not hits they all shouldve been caught, the bunt was good but if with any other team other than ozen thats an out for sure, the little hit to the short stop was a well hit ball and shouldve have been caught and his last hit definitly shouldve been and out... so make sure you get that right first
Trippin Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 Last time I check a HIT is a HIt so let's move on to bigger things...........................
westend1 Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 Not sure what I'm missing here, but the hit over shortstop was not gonna be caught by anyone, unless he was playing on the outfield grass. It was a line drive 3 feet over the guys glove. I'm just a spectator with no dog in this fight, but I know what I saw.
ballin4life Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 not trying to take away from huff as a player, but the bunt which was a good one should have been an out. the ground ball to short should have been an out. the last hit was a good hit. Huff did his job by putting the ball in play, thats all you can ask for. ;D
