Go Horns Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 Hemphill 10, Kirbyville 2, Hemphill has a good team and could prove to be a big time contender in the 2A ranks(meaning this team has deep playoff potential). Kirbyville looks to be improved over last year with a ways to go but on the right track.
AltoJacketFan5 Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 Ouch, we play Hemphill next Thursday in opening round of the Center tournament, sounds like we better get ready!

AltoJacketFan5 Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 Just thought I'd post on here that Alto beat Hemphill this morning 3-2. Hemphill only had around 4 hits. Alto has pretty good pitching for 1a, have the Mitchell kid who is an MLB prospect in the upcoming draft and he pitched the first 5 innings, had several K's, Alto also has a lefty kid who is pretty solid as well, pitched last 2 innings, striking out 4.
KFDM COOP Posted February 28, 2008 Author Report Posted February 28, 2008 Good outing because Hemphill is good.
McLovin Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 Have any other teams from this area played Hemphill?
shs85 Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 Silsbee played them in the Hudson Classic last weekend! Silsbee 8 Hemphill 2 in 4 innings. I believe they had only 3 hits!
