Kelly vs. San Antonio Central Catholic

Friday morning at 9am the boys will play San Antonio Central Catholic. Winner plays for state championship on Saturday.  SACC is defending state champions with a record of 29-0 last season.  Graduated one starter.  Ranked number 1 in greater san antonio area and 7 in Region on Rivals.com  This season they are 22-1-1 having tied SA Churchill and lost to SA Highlands while beating several top schools from the SA area.. All this said,  Kelly wins 2-1.  Any other predictions...........  GO DAWGS......

Central Catholic defeats Houston St. Thomas 4-0 for the State Title.

Kelly boys team played well defensively and couldnt get any attack going.  SACC had a very solid team all over the field. Even their bench players were strong players.  They never lost pace when any players were moved.  Kelly players NEVER stopped trying all the way until the end.  It was a great group of seniors who finished the last nine minutes on the field together.  Ben H and Brent F had fever and Austin G was sick as well.  Gave it what they had, but even without their fever and without their sickness I believe the result would have been the same.  Proud to be a KDawG for sure.  And proud to have known these guys.  A great group of underclassman coming up with NStock at keep, and Alvi solid somewhere  on the field.  Sophmore TRoane who shut down a Regional ODP player the whole time on the field will strengthen midfield with H Allen . ZClarke  and Zmo will head up offense.  Freshman MCpro..... and Hegman......will help build a solid team for our future...
