jetski Posted February 22, 2008 Report Posted February 22, 2008 I can predict that if HJ comes out sluggish in the first half like they have been doing lately, their season will come to a screaching hault.
Bucof2010 Posted February 22, 2008 Report Posted February 22, 2008 I hope HJ puts a whoopin on them. I have a little thing against Navasota. Old gf same story
Guest stevenash Posted February 22, 2008 Report Posted February 22, 2008 7:30 next tuesday at college Park in Woodlands
PoppaBearstarr Posted February 22, 2008 Report Posted February 22, 2008 The Hawks will fly allover college park tuesday and wreck the rattlers season.
PoppaBearstarr Posted February 22, 2008 Report Posted February 22, 2008 I hope they are ready, thier fans were talking it up a little bit at the regional tournament tonight.
Lazeek Posted February 22, 2008 Report Posted February 22, 2008 Went and saw the Navasota/ OF game tonight and they are similar to Silsbee.........Very Athletic, Quick and have a big man that if he gets it on the block he will score. My only two predictions at this point is that the team that wins the rebounding war will win the game and I guarantee that this game will de decided by less than 10 points either way. What more can you ask for in a playoff game.....#4 Navasota vs. #6 HJ!!!!!!!
setxslam Posted February 23, 2008 Report Posted February 23, 2008 We will need the Hecklers at full strength. This will be a full-court war. The Hawks will need to fly around like crazy, all game long.
baller001 Posted February 23, 2008 Report Posted February 23, 2008 this will be a battle just like last years game hoping for the same outcome ill say HJ by 7
Lazeek Posted February 23, 2008 Report Posted February 23, 2008 The OF fans would have given the Hecklers a run for their money last night. It was almost as if the Hecklers dressed in all orange and doubled in size. HJ needs to do the same....more students, more noise and to be even more relentless. Navasota can be rattled...no pun intended!!!!! ;D Every Heckler needs to be in there and bring someone new with you. The gym is huge and the more will only benefit the Hawks. I expect at least 200 Hecklers on Tuesday night.
Wildcatter Posted February 23, 2008 Report Posted February 23, 2008 HJ just needs to take care of the ball, not play sloppy and take to to the big guy. Sundgren can shoot that 10 to 15 ft jumper on him all night. He just needs to stay out of foul trouble. If HJ can do this I think they win this one pretty easily. Navasota is not going to have someone that can shoot from the parking lot like Sweeny did. Good luck Hawks.

Lazeek Posted February 23, 2008 Report Posted February 23, 2008 I watched the OF/Navasota game and I can promise you that the Hawks will NOT win by 23 Whizzie!!!!!
MWhizzie Posted February 23, 2008 Report Posted February 23, 2008 i just feel that we will just run and press them so much that they will be tired at halftime
AggiesAreWe Posted February 23, 2008 Report Posted February 23, 2008 The Hawks just keep on keeping on, 71-64 HJ. I truely believe this year's Hawk team is now better than last year's team. I was one of the doubters early in the season thinking that there's no way they could be better losing a fantastic player in Ryan Donahoe. But I was wrong. Jarvis Benard has now taken over the role that Ryan had last year and the Hawks aren't missing a beat. IMO, he is every bit as good as Ryan and still has another year to go. Good luck Hawks. Â ( of course until you meet my Tigers )
bobcat4life Posted February 23, 2008 Report Posted February 23, 2008 I see H-J by 8. The big kid underneath reminds me a lot of James Gulley that played at Lamar. OF had their chances last night, but made too many turnovers that H-J will probably not make. H-J is also deeper than OF which will help a lot. Good luck!
hawkdad Posted February 23, 2008 Report Posted February 23, 2008 Not seeing Navasota play before makes me pay attention to what the OF fans and Lazeek are predicting. Lazeek says there won't be a winner by 10 points either way so I'm dropping my prediction to 9 3/4.
