HillGuy Posted February 25, 2008 Report Posted February 25, 2008 Most of the speed graduated last year (Pattons, Smith etc). Its an overall rebuild year for track, but distance runners should do ok.
distancecoach Posted February 25, 2008 Author Report Posted February 25, 2008 Do you happen to know any times?
Guest ccryon Posted March 10, 2008 Report Posted March 10, 2008 BH has a sophmore that is gettin his times down in the two mile he ran a 10:53 at the BH Relays and is bringin his times down every week
PANTHERPLAYA09 Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 Ya I went to the BH meet and ran solo....they look they abunch of little kids. A lot of sophmores or something.. definitely a rebuilding year
Guest ccryon Posted March 13, 2008 Report Posted March 13, 2008 yea well their sophmores are gettin better every week
PANTHERPLAYA09 Posted March 14, 2008 Report Posted March 14, 2008 well im sure they are now that they are getting to run in meets. and they have some great coaches to learn from. o and, andrew little is a beast
bhxceagle08 Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 pantherplaya did you run the 800 and mile?
bhxceagle08 Posted March 24, 2008 Report Posted March 24, 2008 your the one that showed up with your parents then.....i ran against you
jmk Posted March 24, 2008 Report Posted March 24, 2008 PANTHERPLAYA09-Did you come in second place at the Lumberton meet in the 800??
PANTHERPLAYA09 Posted March 24, 2008 Report Posted March 24, 2008 negative. I didnt run in Lumberton. Hey bhx, which one of the three were you? To be honest that was the best meet for me all year. The competiton is so much better.
ALLABOUTSTATE4BC09 Posted March 24, 2008 Report Posted March 24, 2008 negative. I didnt run in Lumberton. Hey bhx, which one of the three were you? To be honest that was the best meet for me all year. The competiton is so much better. Maybe if you were running after school instead of being on the computer you might win some races
bhxceagle08 Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 DOGS83- I came in 2nd in the 800 at the lumberton meet....why? Panther- i got 2nd in the 800 i ran like crap i had been sick, and i won the 1600.
jmk Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 bhxceagle08 -did not look like you were hurting too bad. What kind of time do you normally run and what do you think it will take to go to state in the 800 this year?
bhxceagle08 Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 1st time i ran it this year i ran 2 01, pretty much running in lane 3 the whole way, and the next week i got sick and had been runnin 2 05 every meet...the lumberton meet i still was recovering but was better for the most part and i ran 1 59....im guessing your from nederland???? i think a 1 57 will be the time to get to make it to state 4 people in our region are very close including 3 1 59 runners and 1 58 so far
PANTHERPLAYA09 Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 ya...well..im not near as fast as you...but I have a teammate that could possibly go to state if he would work a little harder. But he wouldnt come with me to the BH meet. hes lazy.. good luck at regionals.
bhxceagle08 Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 all it takes is hard work and determination to make it....i would give anything to still be in liberty's district and be a 3a school still in our region we have seven lakes(xc state champs) and friendswood( i think 3rd at state championships) so its realll tough up in this 4a region
jmk Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 bhxceagle08 From Nederland??..yes.I guess the name DOGS83 gave it away. My guess is that it will take more like a 1:56 in the 800 to make it to state.Where are you running this week?
bhxceagle08 Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 would you be the guy who ran the 1 58? or a coach? i hope it doesnt come to a 1 56 but you are probably right. New Caney...and you?
jmk Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 Not the guy, nor a coach ..just an avid fan...Nederland will be running in Orangefield this week. Good luck and hopefully we will see ya at regionals. You mentioned a few others that broke 2:00 in our region.Do you know who they are and where they are from?
PANTHERPLAYA09 Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 well, your right. You would do very well in 3a.(exspecially our region) Ive ran against everyone that will be at my district meet next week and I have to say that the top five from the BH meet would definitely be the top five in my district.(with the exception of BC) I think that our 3a region is pretty weak. Hopefully I can make regionals in the 800 and watch you compete in the mile....maybe take some notes.... ;D
bhxceagle08 Posted March 26, 2008 Report Posted March 26, 2008 DOGS- the 2 others that broke 2 are both from Seven Lakes High School PANTHER- good luck at district
