I saw Anderson at the state meet last year.  He is impressive!

He ran a 10.8.  While that is good, it is far from impressive. Plenty of 10.8's are ran every week and get no second look.  Is it impressive b/c he from a 1A?

Why is Liberty having so many teams.  There invite said 8 teams.  Then, all the sudden they are having 15-19 teams. Thats going to take forever unless they have a ton of workers.  There ought to be some speed there though!!!

Trinity Valley Relays to start at noon Friday

by Roy Besch, Sports editor

Liberty welcoming 16 schools for its annual track and field competition

After getting first-meet jitters out of the way last week at Anahuac's Panther Relays, the Liberty Panthers prepare to host its Trinity Valley Relays, set for Friday, Feb. 29.

Approximately 16 boys’ and 15 girls’ teams will take part in the noon start for field events.

The 3200 meter run will start at 1:30 p.m., with the remainder of the running events to follow.

In addition to the host Liberty teams, some of the schools expected to participate include Dayton, Jasper, Kirbyville, Diboll, Hardin, Anahuac, Hamshire-Fannett, Bridge City, Splendora, Shepherd, Coldspring, and Cleveland.

(This sounds like better info.)
