Heard this is where all the commotion was as it relates to Lamar Athletics, so here I am. Looking forward to sharing whatever knowledge or non-sense (I'm sure UNLV leans more towards the non-sense) that I have on the Southland Conference with you folks. Hope to teach you a thing or two about FCS (yep, the former I-AA) football as you guys make your move into the gridiron. Can't wait til you realize that the "best four weeks in football" takes place in FCS where the playoffs are just a great time. Anyhow -- the Terror is here! For those who do not know who I am, I'm an avid Bearkat backer (check us out on KatFans.com), have dabbled a bit in covering the Football Championship Subdivision (namely the Southland Conference), a bit of radio (here and there) and I love learning all there is about Southland schools from media guides, those who have great stories to tell and any reading I can pick up on...

We can share our passions about SHSU, LU, FCS football (formerly I-AA) and the SLC conference. Now, you have found us don't be a stranger as you know it's been since 1989 since we had a football program and your knowledge could enlighten a few of us.
