Guest abovetherim Posted February 26, 2008 Report Posted February 26, 2008 Just saw him in the Setzer Center and he was walking without a limp. I was headed to the library and didn't get to talk with him. Hope he is able to return at 100% next season!
lu cards Posted February 26, 2008 Report Posted February 26, 2008 curious why he isnt with the team at home games?has he had surgery?if he hasnt i dont think he'll be back next year.i hope im wrong but i think weve seen the last of barrow.
Guest abovetherim Posted February 26, 2008 Report Posted February 26, 2008 lu cards, I can't answer that question but I'll see what I can find out.
UNLV Posted February 26, 2008 Report Posted February 26, 2008 I get the same feeling. It took him a long time to recover last time, mentally and physically.
Lazeek Posted February 27, 2008 Report Posted February 27, 2008 I hope on I am wrong with my next statement.......... I heard that Barrow has left the team and that he will not return for his 5th year next season. He told my source that he has been through rehab once and that he could not go through it again because of the mental and physiacal aspect of it. A young man with so much talent will be sorely missed for the rest of the season and next. I am however disappointed that he has not stuck it out with this team for the rest of this year.
Guest abovetherim Posted February 27, 2008 Report Posted February 27, 2008 I know he loves the game so hopefully he'll reconsider. That said, rehab from a knee injury is tough both mentally and physically. I wish Matt nothing but the best! Great guy.
