I guess if you can do this 28 in a bullpen is nothing.
EAGLE07 Posted February 28, 2008 Author Report Posted February 28, 2008 ;D ;D ;D Glad that's not a Port-a-can.
EAGLE07 Posted February 29, 2008 Author Report Posted February 29, 2008 BH 8 Waltrip 5 Jonathan Kelley with the win (2-1) Kelley pitched a great game until tiring in the 7th. Thamm gets a strikeout and groundball out with the bases loaded to close it out. Alex Rocha with 2nd HR of the year. BH 7 St. Thomas 6 Hunter Silva had a 1-hitter until tiring in the 7th. St. Thomas goes up 6-2 in top of the 7th. JR. Jared Baker throws to one batter to record final out. BH scores 5 in the bottom of the 7th. In a baseball oddity, Baker gets the win. St. Thomas coach intentionally walks last 2 batters to end the game.....basically just quit...."because of lack of pitchers'. Unbelievable ! BH moves to 6-2 on the season. Will play @10:00 tomorrow morning against Bellaire.
bh146 Posted March 1, 2008 Report Posted March 1, 2008 According to Houston 5A Baseball website, Barbers Hill lost the semi-final game to undefeated Belaire 6-1. Ross Hales hit a homerun in the 7th for BH's lone run.
KFDM COOP Posted March 1, 2008 Report Posted March 1, 2008 Yes. Bellaire is the real deal!! Good showing by BH.
EAGLE07 Posted March 1, 2008 Author Report Posted March 1, 2008 That is correct, Bellaire 6 Barbers Hill 1 Absolutely no hitting from BH except for the Hales home run. Thamm (0-1) goes the distance for BH. BH is playing the loser of Kempner and Clements @ 4:00.
EAGLE07 Posted March 1, 2008 Author Report Posted March 1, 2008 Barbers Hill 11 Kempner 10...Final score. BH goes 4-1 to finish in 3rd place in the Ewell Jackson tournament. Ross Hales and Hunter Silva named to the All-Tournament team.
