IMO, the nucleus is in place for a great ladies basketball program. There are good coaches in the SLC and some of our weaknesses are getting exposed now. Next year, Coach Tidwell and his staff will have their program in place and will add a lot of talent. I talked to one of the assistant coaches at the gathering at Buffalo Wild Wings and they want to win now but they too know next year has the potential of being really good. Remember Lamar lost their starting PG early in the season. What if the men had to play without Kenny Dawkins? This is a big loss but they still can make the SLC tournament. As everyone knows, anything can happen then.
