Friday: A bases clearing double by Shon Landry highlighted a five run eighth inning as McNeese State broke up a tie in a 13-8 baseball victory over Houston Baptist here Friday night. The victory was the first in six games for the Cowboys and left the Huskies at 6-7. The two teams play another game beginning at 3 p.m. on Saturday and a third game at 1 p.m. on Sunday. Landry’s three run double was followed by a two run homer by Ryan Brauninger, giving the Cowboys 12 hits in the game.
