Guest bleed orange
I agree the coaches did a good job. Its not watered down like some of the others. That being said, there still should be 5 first teamer's and 5 second teamer's. Seven is close but there is not seven on the court at one time. Overall the coaches did a good job. Congrats to all the kids They are well deserving. Did Rea really get coach of the year? If he did then the coaches really showed a lot of class. I mean everyone knows that Sutherland is a great coach and for the older guys to give Wrinkle this honor is awesome. If in fact he did get it, then that just proves 21 3A has great coaches, great kids and great communities. Most important GREAT coaches who are good people. GOT HEART? WE DO
Congrats to all these young men, I witnessed the players on this list do some excellent shooting and leaderships skills on the hardwood. Congrats to 21-3a. ;D

This is the All-District TEAM. Not the all district starting five. Silsbee took a whole benchload of kids to the state tournament not just the starting five. Let's give all these kids their due. Congrats Everyone!!!!! I knew you would disagree and that's OK. Seems like we has this disscussion last year. I am old school and back when I played only 10 made it between the two teams. Now, there was honorable mention so more kids did make something.
Bobcat1
Benchload? Did anyone that didn't start make it? It's All District TEAM, I've never seen a team carry 18 kids before ;D

Master T
HJ took 19 kids to the playoff so it shouldn't be a surprise to see 18 kids on the all district team. And Mikel Willis should be on here too. He did help take his team to the top. If coaches are not gonna put him on a team then he should be honorable mention. I thought Payne of HJ would've made a team too. Robinson as the Offensive MVP is good but since HJ and Silsbee did split in district shouldn't Benard and Robinson be Co MVP. This is just my opinion. Congrat to all kids that on the list. Don't think I'm trying to down them for such an accomplishment I just believed some were overlooked that all

stang4life
Well, I only counted four Silsbee Tigers between the MVPs, First-, and Second-teamers. That's one less than on the girls' side by one team and considering that Silsbee went on to the state tourney...looks they deserve those slots! Amazing... AggiesAreWe
Silsbee will have 3 starters back, Robinson, Walters, and Stallworth. Also '6"6 soph Avery Thomas started some games for Silsbee and with several key bench players coming back the Tigers will have a great nucleus to work with. Silsbee only loses 4 players and will have 11 coming back, 6 Jr., 3 Soph., 2 Fresh. I put a question mark beside Dominick Bailey's classification. He is a soph. but due to his age, he may only have one more year of eligibility. I am not real sure on that though.
shooter
You shouldn't question anything, it's correct. Many were allowed to bash this kid on this site when in fact, you didn't know what you all were talking about in an earlier post concerning this student-athlete's age and classification. My suggestion is, if you don't know the facts, don't comment on it. This kid has a parent and others who care about him, and it's a bit distasteful to present false statements about him over and over again on this site. Sensitive are we? 8) Why don't you let us know the fact so we won't have any misconception of his age/grade. Although it really doesn't matter Jasper will not be in 21-3A next year so we don't have anything to worry about unless we meet in playoffs. Thanks Aggie I didn't know you were going to get your head bit off, but should be some really good basketball next year as well.
setxslam
Jacoby Turner was not named in any all-district selections. IMHO, he was the best perimeter defender in the district. Looking forward to seeing what he, Jarvis, Trey, and Co. can do next year!

Is this true?? im not 100% on this, so dont go quoteing me, but what i've heard is that, yes Jarvis has an age issue but he has already applied to UIL for another year and it has been allowed... once again not 100% but this is what i have heard from several people... shooter
Call H-J and find out, or call the district chair and maybe you can get some facts about a kid in the district before you mention his name on this website, especially on an issue that could breech student confidentiality.
