lookingdownman Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 McNeese had to drop the La. Lafayette game when NCAA failed to rule on allowing 1-AA teams to add a 12th game.
77 Posted September 3, 2006 Report Posted September 3, 2006 2005 graduate from LCM Kurt Reeves has successfuly walked on for the McNeese cowboys 2006 season.

Guest Eagle'73 Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 Bryan Smith, Trey Bennett, and Todd Pendlan are all Newton Eagle ex'es. Bryan is currently tied for the McNeese quarterback sack record at 11.5 sacks He has been named SLC Defensive player of the week 3 times this year. Trey Bennett was just named SLC Defensive player of the week for the second time (I think) this year for his play against Northwestern. 15 tackles! Trey as a Sophomore last year was named National Defensive Player of the week in the second week of play. This is not to mention how many times that one of the three has been named a McNeese Player of the week. GO POKES! They are currently tied for 1st in SLC. Also Newton ex Jason Rollins and Jasper ex Zack Bronson are on the coaching staff. Along with the other players from the golden triangle area I think Southeast Texas football is represented very well at McNeese!
77 Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 McNeese 26 Nichols st. 10 McNeese are conf. champs.
