Silsbee lost 5 seniors. 2 were starter but as the it came to playoff 3 senior starting. Silsbee lose their second leading scorer. They were all big impact on thier teams on thier own terms. Most of them got to play alot due to it being there last season and all. But they still got alot coming back next year

silsbee  had depth and played 8 to 10 players made contributions every game however throughout the playoff at crunch time when the game was on the line they were playing robinson(jr), walters(jr), stallworth(fr), thomas(so). and howard(sr) as far as transfers do not believe an impact players has moved in, they also have byars (jr)hill and bolton (so) who made contributions this year

Who would of ever thought we would be talking about Orangefield on a basketball thread. Times are a changing.  ;D

You are right but OF played a great season and raised some eyebrows this year.

I was saying the same thing the other day, but to myself. It just goes to show what hard work and dedication will do. Obviously someone has been leaving the "lab" open extra hours.

As long as Mangan is the AD at HF, basketball will be on the backburner.  Not a real priority for him.  If you kids a basketball player do him a favor and move!!!

The only way for HF or anyone for that matter to get better is to play. Your guys have got to be in open gym, summer league, YMCA, the park, ect...

If you aren't playing year round you will be at a severe disadvantage. There is no way an AD can keep your kids from playing. There are just too many opportunities to play around SE Texas.

not trying to bash anyone but hf has alot of seniors i think they will beat BC and orangefield and if they dont try with run with west orange it could be a decent game......who knows

Hey will Jeremy Johnson play Basketball next year for Silsbee

Do you mean the 2008 - 2009 basketball season or his Senior year season?  Either

way, probably only Jeremy knows at this time.  Recall that he was on the squad in

early season last year as a Soph but quit of his own accord.  Not sure what taste

that left in the mouths of Coach Williams and Coach Brooks.  Jeremy actually looked pretty good in the brief times that he was on the court.  He just exudes athleticism.
