bruno994
I wish Central the best of luck, and nothing nasty being said here, but quitting? What are you teaching the kids? Sometimes you have to take the lumps when they come.
lcmfan
Someone please correct me if I am wrong. I wasn't there last night, but I heard our JV made up the game with Central from Tuesday night and they did the same thing to our JV. Quit in the top of the 4th. They still had 6 outs to go. Surely there has to be some rules governing this sort of thing.
elhector1
The only thing I can figure is that there are not enough arms available to the coach to pitch, that let's the ball be put in play to finish off those 6 outs. If he was pitching in the top of the 4th, he was on the field while we batted, so that might have come in to play. That being said, the best thing that can happen is for there to be someone out there who can take the kids willing to pitch and work with them. If Cnetral's coach has other duties that prevent him from doing this, I bet there are at least a couple of volunteers that he can get to do this. The only thing to prevent it would be a restriction on volunteer participation as per the district.
