utguy09 Posted March 11, 2008 Report Posted March 11, 2008 Thats a tough one for the dogs to swallow but im sure they will bounce back!
adminbaberuth Posted March 11, 2008 Report Posted March 11, 2008 Taylor Robichau of Vidor threw a gem tonight. His breaking ball was nasty, great change, then a sneaky fastball. His defense let him down with 4 errors but he pitched out of it. One thing about taylor, he fields his position on the mound better than most infielders. Kirby Bellows started strong, lost his control in the mid innings. Dogs made 4 errors tonight that didn't help. Jude Vidrine of Nederland hit the ball well for the Dogs. Just by memory, VJ Bunner and Trae Hester had the key hits for the Pirates.
BroncoFan1 Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 Congrats to Robichau and the Pirates from your Dayton friends! Great kid!
NHS83LU87 Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 Jude Vidrine 2 for 3 (2b); Adam Broussard (2b). Trae Hester (2b).
football Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 Nederland guy goes home and gets the win! Congrats Kyle, keep on winning.
espn2 Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 Congrats Vidor on the big win. Nederland never gave up, but Vidor was just to much on this night.
VP Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 This was an excellent game to watch in person! The support from all the fans for both teams was terrific. Robi did an excellent job on the mound. Hester did warm up in the bull pen in case Robi got too tired but there was never a need for Hester. Job well done Robi!!! ;D Tight ball game until the end. Looked like Nederland was going to make a come back but the Pirates pulled it off. Way to go guys.
ROADRUNNER85 Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 HOW ABOUT THE COACHING IN THE 7TH INNING BY COACH GREEN WHEN HE SWITCHED HIS RIGHT AND LEFT FIELDER BACK AND FORTH THAT IS SOMETHING YOU DO NOT SEE EVERY DAY IN HIGH SCHOOL.

The coach did great, and I hate to be so picky about a win, but I hope the guys get over the errors. Some teams won't let them get away with 4 errors!
