Guest tudah08 Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 I BELIEVE ANAHUAC WILL COME OUT ON TOP. FOR ONE THEY HAVE ALOT OF KIDS COMING BACK NEXT YEAR. TWO THE REST OF THE AREA HAS LOST THERE KEY PLAYERS.....DO THEY HAVE KIDS WHO HAVE THE TALENT TO STEP UP. NOBODY KNOWS UNTILL NOVEMBER GETS HERE.
Guest ECBucFan Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 Not impossible, but Anahuac would need vast improvement in just one year. I'm sure they will be better, but they need more numbers (depth) badly. Still, the district doesn't look near as strong as last year, so that leaves the door open for Anahuac and everyone else. Playoffs will be tough going for whoever makes it.
TopDawG52 Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 I don't think Anahuac Will come on top. They have already faced Kountze in 7 on 7 basically what Wac Do is throw the ball and Kountze beat them 3 to 1 without Key players in the Secondary. No One on Kountze Schedule will run the ball so the air game better work out.

Not sure where the hostility or the unwaranted attack came from blade but calm down a little pal I'm sure she'll call in a few days and you wont have to be mad at the world anymore ;D
Guest blade_65 Posted May 8, 2008 Report Posted May 8, 2008 Are you serious if you plan on doing anyting in the playoffs you have to run the ball or be able to stop the run. If anyone in the 23 - AA district plays on beating their second round opponent then they better stop the run. Kirbyville and Netwon will be the second round game for most of us in the district since we get a bye in the first round. Beside Hardin and the rumors of EC and Kountze going to the spread no one throws the ball in are district. 2010 hell go to class and be a C student and use the computer for something other than porn and this forum.

If Anahuac or Kountze make the playoffs then they will meet up with Kirbyville, because they are the big schools in the district. Who ever the smallest school in the top 3 will meet Newton
Hotrodg Posted May 8, 2008 Report Posted May 8, 2008 Not necessarily. The 23AA D2 team that finishes lower in the standings will most likely face Newton. That may or may not be the smallest school. See, district championships DO still mean something.
Guest blade_65 Posted May 8, 2008 Report Posted May 8, 2008 If you want to make a run out of the region then you have to go thru newton and kirbyville
grizzly62 Posted May 8, 2008 Report Posted May 8, 2008 If you want to make a run out of the region then you have to go thru newton and kirbyville AND THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN KVILLE AND NEWTON HAS TOOOOOOOOOOOO TOOOOOOO0OO MUCH FOR ANY OF THEM TO GET PAST IN THE SECOND ROUND
BrEaK_eM_OfF Posted May 18, 2008 Report Posted May 18, 2008 Buna's Secondary will be very strong next year losing only the SS... Middle of the defense will have their work cut out trying to stop the run as they are very young and inexperienced. With that said, the six or seven starters returnin, defense should be pretty decent for 23-aa. Size will be one of the weaknesses this year, losing almost all our big guys. Can't wait til football starts up again!!!
BrEaK_eM_OfF Posted May 18, 2008 Report Posted May 18, 2008 In conclusion, My predictions are 1. Hardin 2.Anahuac 3.Buna 4.Kountze 5.East Chambers 6.Deweville 7.Warren
Bucof2010 Posted May 19, 2008 Report Posted May 19, 2008 Buna isn't going to be ahead of E.C. And E.C. In fifth? Wonder when the last time that happened?
Guest A-TOWN Posted May 19, 2008 Report Posted May 19, 2008 Buna isn't going to be ahead of E.C. And E.C. In fifth? Wonder when the last time that happened? Buna vs EC, fight for the 3rd place spot
Bucster Posted May 19, 2008 Report Posted May 19, 2008 Buna vs EC, fight for the 3rd place spot Only in your dreams.

playdefense Posted May 23, 2008 Report Posted May 23, 2008 FOR ANYBODY TO MAKE A PREDICTION AS TO WHO WILL WIN A REAL FOOTBALL GAME BASED ON 7 ON 7 HAS LOST THEIR MIND. I CAN PROMISE YOU BARBAY PUTS VERY LITTLE STOCK IN 7 ON 7. HE JUST WANTS THE KIDS DOING SOMETHING AND NOT SITTING AROUND ON THEIR BUTT. ANAHAUC WILL BE MUCH IMPROVED - VERY MUCH IMPROVED.
Guest A-TOWN Posted May 26, 2008 Report Posted May 26, 2008 The Anahuac/ Hardin game will be a good one
BACK IN THE DAY Posted May 29, 2008 Report Posted May 29, 2008 In conclusion, My predictions are 1. Hardin 2.Anahuac 3.Buna 4.Kountze 5.East Chambers 6.Deweville 7.Warren I dissagree EC will be either second or third, Hardin will dominate if they can stay healthy not only can pass but have a huge and fast backfield average 200lbs.
swatandswim Posted May 30, 2008 Report Posted May 30, 2008 200lb backfield doesn't matter that much speed kills Anahuac District Champions in track and there only getting faster
Guest A-TOWN Posted May 30, 2008 Report Posted May 30, 2008 I still see Buna making the playoffs next year
Guest A-TOWN Posted June 7, 2008 Report Posted June 7, 2008 District 23-2A Football Schedule September 26 Hardin- Bye Warren @ Kountze Deweyville @ Anahuac Buna @ East Chambers October 3rd Warren-Bye Anahuac @ Hardin Kountze @ Buna East Chambers @ Deweyville October 10 Anahuac- Bye Buna @ Warren Hardin @ East Chambers Deweyville @ Kountze October 17 Buna- Bye East Chambers @ Anahuac Warren @ Deweyville Kountze @ Hardin October 24 East Chambers-Bye Deweyville @ Buna Anahuac @ Kountze Hardin @ Warren October 31 Deweyville-Bye Kountze @ East Chambers Buna @ Hardin Warren @ Anahuac November 7 Kountze- Bye Hardin @ Deweyville East Chambers @ Warren Anahuac @ Buna
texasduckhunter Posted June 21, 2008 Report Posted June 21, 2008 East Chambers def Buna 34-33 Kountze def East Chambers 14-13 That made Buna be Co-Champs with East Chambers If East Chambers wouldnt lost to Kountze then they would have been District Champs, but the lost to Kountze help Buna and they won there last two district games need to get your facts straight. after kountze beat ec was tied with kountze for third untill the very last game
Guest blade_65 Posted June 22, 2008 Report Posted June 22, 2008 duckhunter your wrong because kountze needed ec to lose to hardin so they would get in instead of ec kountze had two losses already to buna and hardin and ec had only lost to the lions going in the the last week ec hardin and buna were all tied with one loss if ec would have loss then kountze and ec would have been tied and the tie breaker would have went to the lions because of head to head
