Anyone got an update on Westbrook's catcher Todd Wallace ? He caught my son all summer. Good kid. Hate to see anybody suffer an injury...hope it's not too serious.

Man, I hate to hear that. I hope/pray that Todd has a full recovery and wish him nothing but the best. Injuries are never good but even more tragic during year senior year.

Old Baseball Adage: Good Pitching Stops Good Hitting!!

Atascocita pitcher, Jonathan Dziedzic pitched a great game Wednesday night. 3 hits, 9 strikeouts and only 1 base on balls.

WB had some good swings but the movement of Dziedzic' pitches did not permit the Bruin hitters to square up the ball. West Brook pitcher Nathanial Svoboda also pitched well. He gave up 4 runs, seven hits, with 6 strikeouts. Defensively, the Bruins did not make an error and turned two double plays. Thad Lycan had one of the Bruin hits. Will Partain and Aaron Morgan had the other Bruin hits.

Time to turn the page and move on to Friday's contest against the Kingwood Mustangs....
