Central000 Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 went to this game bc of my son playin yesterday. lumberton completely gave them this game. if my scorebook was right, lumberton gave up 15 walks, and only 3 hits in this game. but still gave up 7 runs. i truely hope the boys from dayton dont feel like dey earned anythin. couse dey surely didn't. but different from us lastnight.
stutteringstanley Posted March 13, 2008 Report Posted March 13, 2008 The boys from Dayton know "dey" earned this win and "dey" earned "everythin" in regards to this game. From what I heard, and I wasn't at this game, Lumberton went thru about 6 pitchers. Dayton used 2.
Central000 Posted March 13, 2008 Report Posted March 13, 2008 well i'm not going to argue about this, because i have nothin to do wit either team. BUT, when a team gives up 16 walks, and only 3 hits.. and still gives up 7 RUNS! it is given to you. specially with the other team (lumberton) gets 11 hits and 5 runs. but yea. i wouldn't be expectn that from ol' l-town again this year.

The last time I checked walks are part of the game but was it 15 or 16?
shs85 Posted March 13, 2008 Report Posted March 13, 2008 Thought Lumberton would win this one by 10 runs!!! Guess that's why they play the game!
