BMTSoulja1 Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 Congrads to all of these great young men. special congrads to Gulley, Harris, Jefferson, and Charlton for earning these honors!
team first Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 congrats to all. It is about 3 weeks late though, but heck boutte is above the law and can hold his district meetings whenever is best for him
ozensfinest Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 congrats to these young men i thought chris hammond should of gotten offensive MVP thought he was averaging about 30 a game
BMTSoulja1 Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 Hammond was on a scoring rampage, but cooled off as the second half of the district started, I believe.
Trad Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 Ozen will have a good group coming back, Central is always tough but beatable if you can make less mistakes against their press. Nederland will have the same core of players they have had the last two years and Vidor will return a couple of seasoned players as well. Lumberton will do better than most expect and PNG will have to find replacements for Miller and Thompson. LCM graduated a lot of players but Coach Harley finds a way to compete every year. I do not know much about Livingston, but do not believe they are on the same level as Dayton. With four teams being able to go to the playoffs this next season I am going with Ozen at the top with Nederland, Vidor and Central as the next three teams in no particular order. This is all very early speculation and a lot could change between now and then. But if I had to choose, these are my best bet for the top 4 this next season. Also congrats to the players on the all district list, looks good to me.
BMTSoulja1 Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 This thread is abot the 22-4a all-district picks, not the teams next year.
whsalum Posted March 13, 2008 Report Posted March 13, 2008 How in the world does Stephen Moten make all region and not make 1st team all district.I would take the first 2 picks on the second team any day.Moten always stepped up in the big games and Ward is as solid as they come,he just didn't have any help : : :
AJ25 Posted March 13, 2008 Report Posted March 13, 2008 hunter rector from lumberton put up some great numbers this year. well deserved.
team first Posted March 13, 2008 Report Posted March 13, 2008 for one thing the district is voted on who does what in the district, not the region. Did moutan evan start in the district ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? if he did not, wow ??? ??? ???
Guest DickVitale Posted March 14, 2008 Report Posted March 14, 2008 I hear that the voters for all region got Jacoby Joseph and Stephen Moten confused for each other!...Might explain it...I just heard that this morning.
whsalum Posted March 14, 2008 Report Posted March 14, 2008 I wasn't slighting Moten, the kid can play. While I didn't see him play during the season I always saw his name in the box scores, especially in the bigger games.
