baseballmom2xs
Ya know, there is not a lot you can do for nervousness on the hill. When I have talked to pitchers that have been nervous for whatever reason and asked what settled them down, the majority response has been their team mates reassuring them that they had his back. A pitcher also has to know without a doubt that he can trust his catcher. If a pitcher feels like he can go up and just throw and not have to worry that his performance is all that mattered then he may be nervous but has a little easier time settling in. When coaches talk to them then they tend to tense up even more. Team mates and friends on field can make a huge difference in performance. cardinal81o7
pitchers SHOULD be nervous before a game, but during a game they arent usually as nervous as the coach is. but w/ first open and two outs, you should probably walk everyone of those players, or anyones best hitter
adminbaberuth
Depends who the pitcher is.
