PURPLE 4EVER Posted March 15, 2008 Report Posted March 15, 2008 With Forest Brook and Smiley merging. Assuming Smiley remains the game scheduled and Forest Brook is dropped.... Dayton's new schedule is now... Aug. 29 Bay City Sept. 5 @ Friendswood Sept. 12 @ Crosby Sept. 19 Kingwood Park* Sept. 26 OPEN Oct. 3 Goose Creek Memorial* Oct. 10 @ C.E. King* Oct. 17 OPEN Oct. 24 Smiley* Oct. 31 @ Barbers Hill* Nov. 7 Galena Park* Don't you think the district will redo the schedules and make start the district games on September 26? This means most of the district teams will have only a 9 game season... Does anyone know if the teams will be able to schedule a 10th game?
SETEXFan Posted March 15, 2008 Report Posted March 15, 2008 The new schedule is completely different than the original. when I get a hard copy of it I will get it on here. But I do know instead of opening with Crosby Dayton will open district play with Kingwood Park. A nice welcome for Kingwood Park to 19-4A.
Bobcatfan4life Posted March 15, 2008 Author Report Posted March 15, 2008 Thanks for the info. The guy I got this schedule from said that if the TEA merged Smiley and Forest Brook that the other schools in the district had alternate schedules set up.
Guest A-TOWN Posted March 15, 2008 Report Posted March 15, 2008 Can you do that, the Realignments already been final i didnt know you can merge after the realigments

WOS87 Posted March 15, 2008 Report Posted March 15, 2008 Everything I'm hearing here in Houston is that all of the Smiley students will be attending Forest Brook as the district just spent a couple of million dollars renovating the Forest Brook campus.
Matt Posted March 16, 2008 Report Posted March 16, 2008 Wow, i wonder how that is going to pan out, with the forest brook vs smiley rivalry, they getting a new name, or keeping forest brook how about smiley brook
Guest A-TOWN Posted March 16, 2008 Report Posted March 16, 2008 That was gonna be a big district with 9 teams in it
bronco1 Posted March 16, 2008 Report Posted March 16, 2008 I am glad they fixed that problem. It will look like a more normal schedule now.
SETEXFan Posted March 16, 2008 Report Posted March 16, 2008 It is no where near a normal schedule with 2 open dates. Dayton will only play 8 games before the playoffs next year. I know the district will all have a bye during week 10.
PURPLE 4EVER Posted March 16, 2008 Report Posted March 16, 2008 Has Dayton's schedule been updated, as well as the other district teams? If so, can someone please post the new schedules.
