Guest Sports Cards Posted March 15, 2008 Report Posted March 15, 2008 SETX was represented well at the Girls Powerlifting Meet in Killeen, Tx this Saturday. Vidor's Bethani Duncan LCM's Megan Fontenot Bridge City's Alexa Richmond and Brittany Meyers All became State Champions in their respected weight classes. Bridge City Girls took the 2nd Place Finish, behind the favored Ingleside. With 5 Sophomores and 1 Jr. making the State Meet, BC should be the favorites next season.

#OGLeagueVillain Posted March 16, 2008 Report Posted March 16, 2008 Vidor had two lifters at the state meet. Junior Whitney Dycus who placed 2nd in 4A in the 181's. Freshman Bethani Duncan who placed 1st in the 132's in 4A, and had the highest total of all 132 lifters making her the 1A-5A Unified State Champion.

OUR AREA WAS WELL REPRESENTED AT THE STATE MEET. CONGRATS TO ALL OF THE GIRLS FROM OUR AREA WHO MADE IT THIS FAR. WE ARE ALL SO PROUD OF EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU.
