Chrisan wins MVP

Yet another major award for a MBA player!!! Following the achievements of Afeshia, Jamal, Kyle and Rundell in the US this basketball season, 6' 4' center Chrisan Petrovanie led her team, Lake Country Christian High School, to the 2008 State (Texas Private School) Championships and in the process won the MVP award

On Saturday 1 March, Chrisan had a huge performance scoring 18pts,10 rebounds, 4 blocks, 3 steals and 2 assists as LCCS defeated Austin Hyde Park 51-42 in the championship game.The previous day she had a career high of 34pts in the semi-final which followed another stunning performance of 27pts, 4 steals, 8 rebounds and 3 assists despite sitting out the last quarter in the quater-finals.

Chrisan is having a great season in her senior year and hopefully this can motivate her as she prepares for her transition from high school to college basketball. She will attend Lamar University next fall.

The MBA family extends congratutations to Chrisan for a fantastic season and best of wishes for the future.
