Guest BCNatureBoy Posted March 17, 2008 Report Posted March 17, 2008 Alright!!!!!!! Congrats to the Tigers! They look like they're on a roll. HJ has to try to rebound against Jasper, what luck.
STiger85 Posted March 17, 2008 Report Posted March 17, 2008 Wow!!! Must have been a great game, to come from behind. Silsbee lead 2-0 early. A back and forth game. Congrats Tigers.
TigerMom Posted March 17, 2008 Report Posted March 17, 2008 Wow! What a great game. Congrats Tigers!! ;D ;D
shs85 Posted March 17, 2008 Report Posted March 17, 2008 The game was 4-2 HJ going into top 7. Strikeout, Kelly single, Kay BB, Derossette 2 Rbi double and game tied 4-4. Derossette on third and 2 strikes on Hargrove. Guess what? Squeeze and Derossette scores the winning run. McDonald gets the win which gives him a 2-1 record in district. Moss was 2-4, double/single, and 1 run. Derossette was 1-3, double/2 rbi's/1 run. Kelly was 1-3/1 run. Kay 1 run. McDonald 1 run.

Ty Cobb Posted March 18, 2008 Report Posted March 18, 2008 Another classic to add to the Hardin-Jefferson/Silsbee series. It was truly a game of neither team willing to quit. Silsbee went up by 2 in the first only to have HJ battle back and take the lead in the 5th. The Hawks added, what looked like an insurance run in the 6th, to make the score 4-2. Silsbee put up 3 runs in the top half of the 7th to retake the lead. However, HJ wouldn't quit. After a lead off fly out in the bottom of the 7th, the batter hit a shot by the diving 3rd baseman. The Silsbee leftfielder made a great throw to get the batter out going for 2. The next batter draws a 2-out walk then the Silsbee pitcher got a strikeout to end the game. Hats off to both teams for playing a great ballgame.
643 Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 I don't see how a pitcher could let him get the ball down on a suicide, not to mention it was the go-ahead run.
shs85 Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 How is the pitcher from HJ that took the line drive off his arm???
HNIC Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 How is the pitcher from HJ that took the line drive off his arm??? fine
The dirty doody Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 where's the Heckler at ??? im here what do you need??
mongoose Posted March 24, 2008 Report Posted March 24, 2008 I don't see how a pitcher could let him get the ball down on a suicide, not to mention it was the go-ahead run. First of all it wasnt a suicide squeeze bunt, it was just a bunt that the third baseman fielded and saw the the runner halfway down the line, and thought he looked him back and threw it to first
