Guest roberthollister Posted March 18, 2008 Report Posted March 18, 2008 Cornel Thompson has waited long enough to take over as head coach/AD. I wonder if he still wants it, assuming Dan Hooks retires in 2009.
Guest abovetherim Posted March 18, 2008 Report Posted March 18, 2008 Great DC, I mean great but he didn't do too well as a head coach prior to coming back to WO-S. I don't think you can just chalk it up as Coach Thompson once Coach Hooks does retire.
Guest roberthollister Posted March 18, 2008 Report Posted March 18, 2008 Well he was 2-8 at Palestine, but at WO-S it's different. He would be my pick for defensive coordinator at Lamar.
Guest Chaingang Defense Posted March 18, 2008 Report Posted March 18, 2008 NO HAVE TO KEEP HIM AT WOS. HE'S NOT GOING ANYWHERE. HE'LL BE THE NEXT HEAD MAN.
DP#1FAN Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 I think he would make a good DC at Lamar. Players like him but most of all RESPECT him.
raidernaytion Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 I heard coach Moody from LCM is looking into the job !
Guest Chaingang Defense Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 FIRST OF ALL THERE IS NO JOB OPENING! SECOND COACH THOMPSON IS NOT LEAVING WHEN HOOKS RETIRES.

Didn't Palestine have a RB by the name of Adrian Peterson? Coach Thompson might have already been back at WO-S. As I stated earlier, he is a great DC and yes he should be given another chance as a HC. I know one thing he is a quality human being. He wrote a letter to McNeese on my brothers behalf and he didn't even attend WO-S. He is a great man in my book!
Guest Chaingang Defense Posted March 24, 2008 Report Posted March 24, 2008 Glad to have Toby Foreman coming back!! AWESOME NEWS!!!
venom33 Posted March 24, 2008 Report Posted March 24, 2008 Glad to have Toby Foreman coming back!! With Coop saying it maybe it has a little substance.... So is it a done deal?

Guest Chaingang Defense Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 KIDS AT SCHOOL ARE EXCITED, TOBY THE QB COACH AGAIN AND HOPEFULLY WILL DO SOME PLAYCALLING.
venom33 Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 Lets just hope the good ol shotgun play on a 1st and goal on the one yard line has been lost....
wos4ever Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 It was actually 2nd down, but I think that the OC learned his lesson.
venom33 Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 It was actually 2nd down, but I think that the OC learned his lesson. I disagree... It was 1st and a few inches and we line up in a shotgun formation,if I recall, all 4 downs and came up with negative yards for our effort. Also, that wasnt the OC's call!
Guest Chaingang Defense Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 99% OF THE CALLS WERE THE OC, THE OC CALLED IT. DON'T START THAT AGAIN.
