Monday August 7th High School Football is here beginning with Two-A-Days. All Schools except Memorial, Ozen, Central and West Brook will Begin August 7th.

I was wondering about that , as Jasper starts school on the 9th. I asked a couple of admin. people about it. but couldnt find anyone to give me an answer.

For some reason, I thought the earliest school could start was 08/14.

BC start Aug. 9th and OF Aug. 10th.

Scrimmages are the week of the 18th and 25th. When they start School they'll start practice.

I know that , but it just seemed to me back in the day,,,, and a lot of you know the day that we had two weeks of 2 a days......or it seemed like it in 73-77'

I'm the biggest Pirate fan around but not sure we could hang with that overall team speed. Don't get me wrong our kids will lay the leather on you if they could CATCH you. We just turned the corner last year with our first trip to the playoffs since 98. We want alot more this year. We have a Sr. class of about 12 that most of them have played on varsity since there freshman year. I think we have a good coaching staff on hand. But as for playing WOS to be the best you have to play the best. At least it would be a short bus ride! The Pirates respect the WOS program and Coaches.

I talked to coach Dyer of WOS this morning at the local Exxon and he told me 2 a days werent the same anymore. Something about UIL rules.
