piratepride09 Posted March 20, 2008 Report Posted March 20, 2008 both teams are doing good this season, but who do you think will win the game?
VP Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 Well, I am going with the hometown boys on this one. However, both teams have the pitching and the bats so this one will be interesting and exciting to watch. Alot of parents biting the nails on this one.
Guest Pirate V Ball Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 Nail biter, Vidor by 1 at home.
NHS83LU87 Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 Should be a great game. PNG's defense has not been solid in the last two games. I pick Vidor in a close one.
cleanup13 Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 This should be a great game. Both teams have very talented players. I hope the fans from both teams cheer on their teams in a positive way and hope that all the players finish the game healthy.
Vidor50 Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 Any idea of who is going to start for the Pirates. Should be a close and well played game. Coach Green will have his players ready to play as always. Vidor by 2 due to home field advantage. Should also be a good crowd on hand from both schools.
bringiton Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 Vidor will win if they have Hester AND Robichau available to pitch.
Critter Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 To close to call....Have to give the edge to the home team in this one....
Foyce Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 PNG 3-1 Good Luck to Both Teams Thanks guy, but I hope the scores will be reversed. Hope to see you guys in the stands.
skills123 Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 Vidor is a very solid team but Harrington is throwing the ball too well to be beat right now....the only way png loses this one is if the defense kills them again....PN-G 4-2, small ball wins this game

Hope to see him and Harrington battle it out.

Foyce Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 Vidor will win if they have Hester AND Robichau available to pitch. Sims pitch the Central game and did a great job! I was glad to see him moved into the rotation. Both Hester and Robichau should be primed and ready!

I agree with this 100% although we have a great pitching staff Taylor seems to be the hot pitcher right now and I would expect that he will take the mound in this game! Honestly I would be comfortable with any of our top three.
vpride Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 I know Taylor is hot right now. But I am hoping for Hester versus Harrington. At some point we have to put Hester in the big game so everyone can see what he has got. In district I mean. Jasper already found out, but that was on a small stage in a tournament. It is time for him to have his coming out party on the big stage in 22-4A versus one of the big guns like PNG. Vidor 7 PNG 0 (Hester complete game shut out)
midcountymadness Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 What three tournaments did Vidor play in?
vpride Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 Jasper, Hudson, Lumberton (I think) Bad weather and I didn't go.
KFDM COOP Posted March 24, 2008 Report Posted March 24, 2008 Winner of this one will have sole possession of 1st Place.
sangster05 Posted March 24, 2008 Report Posted March 24, 2008 Vidor 7 PNG 0 (Hester complete game shut out) Vidor 7-0 over PNG? Get real. First off Harrington wont give up 7 runs. Second, Harrington, Carnahan, Benoit, Todd and Spikes wont be kept off the scoreboard. Its more likely for Harrington to shut out Vidor than either Vidor pitcher to shut out PNG.
MorpheusRemington III Posted March 24, 2008 Report Posted March 24, 2008 Gaaaaarrrrr(the noise a pirate makes)
