lovethegame19 Posted March 26, 2008 Author Report Posted March 26, 2008 the district meet for the 4A has changed about 3 times this year, so caused other 4A teams not want to run so close to district.....and the other reason is that the 3A district meet is held at Silsbee next week so probably would want there kids to run on that track Friday to get used to it, or have a edge i guess if you have one. ;D

cardinalcc Posted March 26, 2008 Report Posted March 26, 2008 Two years ago there was a great battle in the 1600 between Aaron Brannen of Bridge City and Drew Bean of Little Cypress-Mauriceville at the Bobcat Relays. They were neck and neck the entire race. Aaron won with a 4:21 and Drew finished right behind him in 4:22. It was awesome to watch, probably 2 of the fastest times in the 1600 run in this area.

Yeah I agree thats why I wish meets were still two days instead of trying to cram everything into a Friday afternoon!!
