LamarStatesports Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 The Lamar State College-Port Arthur women’s softball team will play a non-conference doubleheader at home Wednesday against Louisiana State University-Eunice. Lamar State’s record dropped to 3-20 overall and 0-12 in Region XIV play Monday, when the Seahawks lost twice, 8-0 and 11-5, to Galveston College, which was ranked No. 11 in the latest National Junior College Athletic Association weekly poll. LSU-E (7-22) has won all three of their games against the Seahawks this year. The two teams will play again in Port Arthur on April 16. Wednesday’s games begin at 2 p.m. on Martin Field, 1000 Lakeshore Drive on the Lamar State campus. The Seahawks will be on the road this weekend for conference doubleheaders at Paris Junior College on Saturday and at Northeast Texas College in Mount Pleasant on Sunday.
