If it had been Bronson, that would have been his third.Â
East TX Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 That Jasper squad is such an explosive team; on a given night they can beat anyone. Silsbee is not that bad a team as this score indicates. HR hitters can really make a difference.
Hupernikomen Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 Who chunked the shutout for Jasper? Parson pitched until the last inning. He gave up a lead off hit that was later thrown out on a steal attempt I believe. And then didn't give up another hit struck out 7 I think. Yates came in and pitched the 5th..he also gave up 1 hit and struck out 2.
j_dog Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 Just got word, Silsbee scored 11 in the bottom of the first, Tigers lead 11-1. Most creative way to steal runs I ever heard of. ;D
mammyj Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 Jasper Pitchers: Justin Parsons-4 innings 7 k's 1 hit No walks Cord Yates-1 inning 2 k's 1 hit No walks Parsons only hit was by 1st inning leadoff-Blake Moss, who was then out on a 463 double play. Aaron Stephenson was responsible for 7 of the 15 runs by Jasper. Grand slam in top of 1st and 3-run homer in top of 4th. Tyler Ernest and Ty Parker had 3 hits each and Justin Parsons and Parker Phillips had two each.
