TexasTerror Posted March 26, 2008 Report Posted March 26, 2008 One of our fans posted this link on KatFans... It's recruiting and it's rankings, so it does not mean much -- but you guys know how other schools and their fans like to tout these to help their programs... UNLV Posted March 26, 2008 Report Posted March 26, 2008 Yet when you look at the slc standing you see just the opposite.
TexasTerror Posted March 26, 2008 Author Report Posted March 26, 2008 Yet when you look at the slc standing you see just the opposite. UNLV -- you are a knowledgeable guy. What'd that third ranked national recruiting class of Lamar BKB do during their time in Southeast Texas? Should be noted that this is for this coming recruiting class, can't judge it til next year. SHSU already has plenty of freshmen playing a lot of innings especially on the pitching staff (you may recall the freshmen who led SHSU over Lamar earlier this year). Time will tell if these players blossom...too early to tell. We got some strong older players too (Stein, Verbick, Howard)... Recruiting rankings are garbage anyway...

Well isn't that what I said, "just the opposite". Therefore SHSU should be in last place next year.
lu cards Posted March 26, 2008 Report Posted March 26, 2008 i know we have 3 studs coming in harington(png),bunner(vidor) and angelle(bc).
Guest abovetherim Posted March 26, 2008 Report Posted March 26, 2008 That ranking has to be for kids recruited in 07 as they are still recruiting for the 08 class and yes Lamar has a few studs coming I pray selfishly they don't get drafted too high.
weslinder Posted March 26, 2008 Report Posted March 26, 2008 TT, Is Leyja going to make it to campus, or will he be drafted too high?

Eric Harrington is considered Lamar's top signee and didn't he sign in November? Those rankings don't include JC players, only HS players. They also state that they will update those rankings when players don't go to the school they sign with.
