Guest Orangeboy Posted March 28, 2008 Report Posted March 28, 2008 Well pitched game by both Hicks and Rogers. HJ defense was what really killed them along with reall not threatening Hicks with their bats. Now on to Tuesday and another big battle with Silsbee.
HNIC Posted March 28, 2008 Report Posted March 28, 2008 Where y'all at Hecklers?? Yes errors killed us. the first 3 runs were unearned. breaux did drop a bomb though for the fourth. but rodgers pitched a gell of a hame as well as hicks.
SETXsports Broadcaster Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 Remember Rule 4 on the board "keep it civil" play nice
baller001 Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 it was a great game if HJ could have fielded the balls that they normally do this could be a totally different story but i have to give it to BC they took advantage when they had the chance and beat us fair and square
rsnbaseball10 Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 Great job by Hicks he can pitch. Rodgers did a good job too. BC made the plays when they had to and HJ didn't. BC scored the runners that got on base and HJ had runners on 3rd i think 4 times with only one out and couldn't get it done but congrats to BC and go dominate Silsbee.
Guest Orangeboy Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 I was very impressed with the Roebuck kid, yall have a good one in him HJ, enjoy him while you got'em. He can play with the best of em.
40water Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 Hicks pitched an excellent game. He is also a class act. He shook my hand before and after the game, and helped one of my teammates up after a run down.
Critter Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 I was very impressed with the Roebuck kid, yall have a good one in him HJ, enjoy him while you got'em. He can play with the best of em. Yes I was very impressed with the Roebuck kid....
horndawg Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 it was a great game if HJ could have fielded the balls that they normally do this could be a totally different story but i have to give it to BC they took advantage when they had the chance and beat us fair and square I agree that errors can kill you, especially against a team like BC, but you have to remember that HJ didn't do its job at the plate either, so errors do not appear to be the only thing that hurt them.
East TX Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 You know, Looking at the big picture, this 21-3A is very superior to other 3A Districts across the state. Most of the teams represented would win Districts all over the state of Texas. We are fortunate to be able to go and see premium HS games all through the season.

ALLABOUTSTATE4BC09 Posted March 30, 2008 Report Posted March 30, 2008 I think they were complementing Roebuck on his good game Friday?? : 8)
Guest BC boy 17 Posted March 30, 2008 Report Posted March 30, 2008 I think they were complementing Roebuck on his good game Friday?? : 8) Roebuck is a great player and a force either offense or defense. For the game against BC it was Rogers pitching, Roebuck played center and lead off batter. Cards Fan
