dogbone2010
Just courious on how many pitchers your teams are using in district play, and is everyone getting in on the rotation in case they make district playoffs????
adminbaberuth
I've seen Beaul Hale (LCM) and Brian Sanches (Ned) pitch every game to Austin. The rules were different on amount of games in the series, but if you win the flip, one was all you needed.

SETXsports Broadcaster
Of course if your like Jasper in the playoffs you just pitch them back to back games ;D
baseballmom2xs
I agree with Beaumont... You can have two but by the end of the season they are pretty worked over. Playoffs get tough. Three is good and four is even better. I also think the variety of 'studs' is necessary. I think you need hard throwers, finesse throwers, and at least one that can do it all. midcountymadness
This sounds like a question that would be asked by pitcher number five's dad. If some teams try to get pitchers four and five too much work in district, you might not make it to the playoffs. If it takes your best two or three to get you there, that is what you have to do. Four and five can throw a few innings here and there when the situation calls for it.
baseballmom2xs
I agree with that comment. Just because the pitcher may be four or five don't mean that they can't do the job when necessary. Being around the game enough, sometimes when the 1,2, or even 3 have been seen enough by the older players of the other teams then the most effective can sometimes be the other pitchers. IMO Playoffs may be a different matter tho.
