Sticky5 Posted March 31, 2008 Author Report Posted March 31, 2008 I think we(HD) can pull away with this one.
DC07 Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 I'm giving HD a chance there but im not sure if they'll get the win
Sticky5 Posted April 1, 2008 Author Report Posted April 1, 2008 Well we beat Sabine Pass and Sabine Pass beat High Island. But you never know i guess.
Lions Den Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 Sticky you talk a lot but can yall back it up. I've heard that your team makes a bunch of mistakes in a game and cannot finish a team off. I hope HD can win.
Luther X Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 Ithink High Island wins this one. High Island has too much offensive power. This is going to be a battle of shortstops as both are very good players.
Sticky5 Posted April 1, 2008 Author Report Posted April 1, 2008 I will admit that we have a VERY big error problem. Its just something we have to work on.
Luther X Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 This is going to be a good game. I think High Island has the advantage on offense while Hull-Daisetta has the speed and pitching. This game is a matchup of two good shortstops. My prediction: High Island 7 Hull Daisetta 5. Both teams are competing for a playoff spot with no chance to catch or beat the Evadale Rebels.
TH 54 Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 Sticky you talk a lot but can yall back it up. I've heard that your team makes a bunch of mistakes in a game and cannot finish a team off. I hope HD can win. damn straight and why bring another team into the conversation?
Sticky5 Posted April 2, 2008 Author Report Posted April 2, 2008 If we play High Island like we played WEST HARDIN today, then its gonna be a long day for us come Friday.
Luther X Posted April 5, 2008 Report Posted April 5, 2008 The win by High Island makes things very interesting in 25 1A. They stay on the heels of the Evadale Rebels setting up a great matchup next Friday in High Island. Going to be fireworks in that one. The loss by Hull-Daisetta puts them in defensive mode for the rest of the season as they scramble to try and grab a playoff spot. Good luck to both teams.
