I am in the market for new guide/boat captain license.  Will be guiding offshore and bass fishing manly.  Anyone have any suggestions?

Yes the 44 foot boat has a commercial permit, but we don't use it.  This will be specifically for sportsfish trips of 6 persons or less.  I am running a 32 scarab and part-time with the 44 as either deckhand or Captain.  Got to upgrade my sixpack to a 100 ton Masters this month.

A friend of mine got his at Roy's in Clear Lake.  Don't know the web addy, but I can get it for ya if needed.

Yes, Captain Roy's is where I am upgrading at.  Insurance is another matter still working on.
