PNG Proud Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 Now Tribesman, don't be like that. Some might get the wrong idea here...and knowing you, there's NO WAY you'd be stirring the pot. :
EAGLE07 Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 Consider my wrist SLAPPED... :o Dude, it was pretty funny.
The Voice Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 I just heard Vidor is protesting the game due to illegal equipment used by the Bears.
EAGLE07 Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 I just heard Vidor is protesting the game due to illegal equipment used by the Bears. ??? ??? ???
elhector1 Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 If THAT were true, all the Vidor fans would be on here talking about it...I just love April 1st!
The Voice Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 Something about the type of bats some of the players used.
Guest b-a-g fan Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 The kind that hits the ball were players aren't ;D
elhector1 Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 come on Voice...my first reaction was...what a wussy thing to do...but then I thought about it...and it was quiet...TOO quiet...
VOP Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 in hindsight, perhaps Hester should have started
The Voice Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 LCM is starting to get it togeather. Look out 2nd half.
Tribesman Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 Thanks, Eagle. This is how the forum should be. All in good fun. You have to be able to take it, as well as dish it out ! You can't second guess the decision to start Robi. He was the hottest pitcher in the district. He'll bounce back !!!
elhector1 Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 in hindsight, perhaps Hester should have started VOP, props for coming on here and posting, even though the other Pirate faithful have all but disappeared. You came on and made a point about the game, and didn't attack the Bears, umps or fans. That is true class. Trust me, our Bears will never take Vidor lightly.
EAGLE07 Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 Thanks, Eagle. This is how the forum should be. All in good fun. You have to be able to take it, as well as dish it out ! You can't second guess the decision to start Robi. He was the hottest pitcher in the district. He'll bounce back !!! Very, very well said. Hey...we could all be eating food out of a straw right now... It's important....but not that important... With that said....anybody got directions to Round Rock ? :D
Terrier Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 What a crazy district. Vidor could go from all alone in 1st to 4th in a week if they lose to Nederland.
RonBurgundy68 Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 This score kind of reminds me of the time LCM played Vidor at home at the end of the season last year... One of the bears hit a shot over the scoreboard in RF, and LCM absolutely blew Vidor out of the water... Now, with that being said, I'm sure Coach Green will light a fire under the Pirates' tushes, and they will come out and pick up a win against Nederland Friday... Good Luck Pirates!
bringiton Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 Face it. The Bears have the most potent offense around !
vpride Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 Congrats LCM on the win. The better team won tonight. I hope we can rebound before Friday. But don't forget pirate fans we split with them last year with both teams winning the road games. So when the second half rolls around we should have some confidence going over there. I will have to ask this question however? Has anyone had a Tre Hester sighting. Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe it has been just one district start for him. Is he possibly injured?
utguy09 Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 I hope hes not injured. He has great potential and he could be one of the best pitchers in the area and maybe the state.
Aces_Full Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 I just heard Vidor is protesting the game due to illegal equipment used by the Bears. I doubt that.
GUNHO Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 Only bright spot for Vidor was pulling off the double steal to score their run.Still can't beleive lcm tried to gun down the runner at second with a man on third.Lot of ball yet to be played and I still think the top three of lcm,png and vidor will be there at the end.
Vidor50 Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 PN-G people are the most selfish, egotistical and arrogant people I have ever met. This is about LC-M and Vidor and nothing to do with PN-G. You will have your chance at the reservation later to put it to us, IF THEY CAN! All teams go through a streak of some kind and Vidor is going through that now. Coach Green will have his team ready o play Friday night and the players will respond with a great game. Come on and let the kids play ball. LC-M was the better team Tuesday night and Vidor was the better team earlier in the season. On any given night a team can play great to win a game. The Pirates will roll and their ship will get back on course for the playoffs. >
